Dory and Nemo in Hell’s Kitchen

Fish are America’s great starter pets — the goldfish brought home from a street fair that Mom and Dad allow in the house to teach responsibility before agreeing to a “real pet” like a dog or a cat.

But at Manhattan Aquariums, on West 37th Street one block from the Javits Center, fish are no consolation prize.
